SWORD PLAY...

Here's one of my all time favorite Disney films the Sword in the stone! I was watching this movie this past sunday as it snowed. (I hate you Chicago weather!!) Ive been wanting to illustrate a couple of Disneys character for my portfolio, Wart being one. I drew Wart abit younger then what he's suppose to be and i have Archimedes the (owl) looking over his shoulder. I showed three steps sketch, pencil then color in photoshop. I finished up the coloring this monday morning. p.s i love Chicago... not this weather!! :)

IT'S BEEN A MINUTE......More like a month!!!

Yeah it been awhile since my last blog entry. (SO SORRY!!) The whole reason for this Blog was to push my art more then last year. With more detail and hopefully criticism from other artist. So any-who... im just writting what ive been up to in the past weeks. Well i assure you that i was drawing and keeping active with my art, creating, printing. Early in the month me and 2 GOON CREATOR'S (REEF AND HAM) attended a comic show over in Gurnee Illinois. It was abit tiny. Not to be compared to Wizard world Chicago nor San diego .... But all in all it was a comic a comic show. It was cool. I have a few pictures showing what we had displayed at the comic show. Comics that where printed where two Books from myself and co-creator REEF! Are action title OUTCAST BROKEN SHELLS AND SOFA KINGDOM WINTERTIME BLUES. There at the show we did abit selling and talkin to comic buyers left and right! With each purchase of the SOFA KINGDOM WINTERTIME BLUES. I illustrated a personal sketch on the back of each comic. (TOO MUCH FUN!) ALSO i like to add... That if your not able to attend any of the comic shows or purchased online and you happend to be strolling in the down town area . You can purchase both titles at GRAHAM CRACKER COMICS located 77 E. Madison St. Chicago, IL. 60602 (SW corner of Michigan Ave. & Madison St.). Also at Chicago COMIC located over at Chicago Comics 3244 N. Clark Street Chicago, IL 60657
Im going to end this blog with sayin..Thanks to everyone at the show and at the comic shops that took the time to check out are books and saying.. whats up?

Ohh.... i drifted to much in the comic books and comic show. That i had some metal bands illustration that i created a covers for and flyers designs. I'll be posting more on that story and art for next time....
