CUT AND PASTE

I was in a practice test for CUT&PASTE this past weekend. A computer art contest! battling it out to see how fast you can knock out a drawing on the computer using images from a camera or just free hand drawin in photoshop or illustrator. Using there theme (BLISS). I chose a girl in the rain of shoes. (LAAAME!) But thats what came to mind. My lovely sister Adela was the model for the photo shoot! thanks again Adela!

i dont know what is the next step of the contest. i just wait it out! it was fun all together and did some networking.

Still shaking off the vector art bug. i have like 4 or 5 piece of art i need to get out of my system! i tend to work on three designs at once. i get too bored like most artist. This is my first of the year self portraits. more to come. i know i love myself too much!

VECTOR ART PT.2 MESSY JESSE..

still playin with vector art and different faces. I was watchin the news and saw Jesse jackson on. I drew this piece like in an hour. I pulled this photo off a google search and i thought his expression was too funny. I did alittle adjustments but it was fun. He looks and reminds me of the grinch from how the grinch stole christmas.

VECTOR LOVE....PT.1

takin a short break from workin on pages for SOFA KINGDOM. ive picked up my first sketchbook of the year and just been adding characters in each pages. some small notes and gesters of all kind. i thnk i feeled up 12 pages. the sketchbook is tiny but i drew a bunch. i then went to work on the pages again from SOFA KINGDOm and then i was inspired to do some vector art. i havent in a while and im not looking for a distraction . i justed had the itch to do some head shots of famous folks off the web. well im goin to play more with the character and promise to go back to pages.

just adding character design to my portfolio from my folders. Ive had some logos designs of random characters like pirates and vikings or knights. so ive rough out and sketched from my sketchbook. This piece was a throw away design for a pirate. i kept it so i can use it my portfolio for just in case. process... the sketch was done awhile ago. i just added some color.

HAPPY NEW YEARS!
ive been starting off the new year with the art of SOFA KINGDOMS 48 comic and thumbnailing all the pages.
im very impressed with shariff dialogue with the story. actually (scratch that) im not! cause he has it in him. but the story is funny. Ive took a breaks from the thumbnailing and playin with coloring. so i took a sketch and colored. Its one of my many projects im at least pushin for 2009 with VIkings!!
