TIME FOR REST...
Yestarday we lost a great American illustrator Maurice Sendak. i can still recall all his books in grammer school and always stared at his detail and cross hatching. (Still do) taking storytelling and child book art classes over at Columbia College Chicago where we where taught how to break up the pages. Taught me how to look at attacking a page in a diffrent direction. Over all its a great lost:( Always with a message in his books. One of my main inspirations.
Thank you sir. Rest well!
My Tribute art of the WILD Things was made on water color paper 5.5x8.5 board and water color and in pen for hatching..
45 min all together.
