ALERO ART! + CHICAGO URBAN ART SOCIETY + PSEUD PRESS

This pass sunday i was invited and be part of a artist alley event ran by Chicago Urban art Society and Pseud Press. Great art meduims from fabric to print to illustration and fun comic too. i was there sellin prints and creating water color piece.

..i was getting dress in the morning for registration classes at Columbia College Chicago my last year. i heard my sister talking to my other sister on the phone about turning on the tv and my brother calling to get all your money outta the bank. (crazy ass!) On the television was both smoking towers and minute later one fell after the other. It was surreal and shocking.

this was a painting i made that fall in one of my drawing painting classes.

good show c2e2

a week late responds. But better late then ever i say.... Over all C2E2 was fun. alot people dig this Sofa Kingdom issue. Alot of watercolor commission art. Im very proud of the product as well as every other book i put out. This time around i had more of story writing in this one. Thanks for all the special guest pin up artist. Very greatful. Over all it was great. All books leftover from the comic con are sold at local comic shops in Chicago. Ask around if ur looking. Challangers comics, Graham crackers, Chicago Comics and qumibys comics to name a few chicago shops carrying Sofa Kingdom. here some art pieces as well as photo from the con. I look forward to the next con as well as the cool people who supported.

TIME-OUT for COMICS..

well i get an email this past week asking if would like to submit and art piece for Chicago TIME-OUT kids magazine. Relating to kids going to C2E2 Chicago Comic Show. this is what i came up with. it was fun. Big thanks to Dave Losso for dropping my name.

VIKING KINGDOM

was listening to a good podcast this morning of SIDEBAR PODCAST.. LOOK IT up!!
and just wanted to sketch and a sketch turn to coloring. so here my Frazetta inspired paintin viking art. While im at it!! and much needed drink!! i just wrapped up the SOFA KINGDOM comic for c2e2 and is being sent to the printers. i wanted to just knock this piece out for shits and giggles.

wrappin the 2010 to start fresh for 2011..
started and mid complete two comics for C2E2. One co-created Sofa Kingdom with half of the art pencil and ink complete other is a Viking comic i completed 24 pages this pass october at a 24hour comic. which is over due for a title but stuck at vikings still!
heres a panel which is already posted. more art will be posted an completed soon.

has been gettin request for portrait art for the season. pretty fun.
alot of request actually. you too can get a digitize too.

still submittin my Dirty Dozen design in diffrent takes, took out some police as well some salt and pepper shakers. also playin with the pen tool in photoshop for practice.
