aw yeah comics...

summer keeping busy from posting. did some page for the awesome Aw Yeah Comics 2 pages for the first issue release early this year during Chicago C2E2 2013  this was written by the awesome Chris Smits and drawn by me. I had a pin up show up in issue #3 of Action Cat. next story to come are written by Dave Losso and Shariff Musallam more to come.

wrapping up 2 storys this week for C2E2 Chicago. here are some workin pages for a "Spaghetti Western" Sofa Kingdom skit. Written by Shariff Musallam and art by me. im learning more coloring styles with this story. more to come.

c2e2 2012 was great

gettin back to the swing of things. had the best C2E2 comic show ever. did a ton of character commission watercolor for alot of people. big thanks again. got Sofa Kingdom 8-bit printed on time :) and in color. awesome. ran into some old friends and made abunch more. got a gig an awesome gig out of the sunday show. cant say anymore then big thanks. i hope you guys had a great weekend too!

workin progress.. for C2e2

getting ready for this years C2e2 Comic show. ive been bad at not posting as much as should.... long gap. been busy. 2 books to complete as well as balancing freelance work. here are some character designs as well as so of what ive been doing..

SOFA grinding

its getting around that time where putting together comics for up and coming comic shows. every year this time its been one 48 page book. this time im puttin 3 books together. 2 Sofa Kingdom books and one Viking Ocean Maruaders. each less then 15 page storys including sketchs and pin up art makin it a 20 something page comic. wrappin up the last pages but takin a break to put some art together for button pins and posters. more to come.

a week late responds. But better late then ever i say.... Over all C2E2 was fun. alot people dig this Sofa Kingdom issue. Alot of watercolor commission art. Im very proud of the product as well as every other book i put out. This time around i had more of story writing in this one. Thanks for all the special guest pin up artist. Very greatful. Over all it was great. All books leftover from the comic con are sold at local comic shops in Chicago. Ask around if ur looking. Challangers comics, Graham crackers, Chicago Comics and qumibys comics to name a few chicago shops carrying Sofa Kingdom. here some art pieces as well as photo from the con. I look forward to the next con as well as the cool people who supported.

spending the weekend downtown Chicago McCormick place at C2E2 comic show. I will be in artist alley with alot of talented artist. i will have Books for sale as well as prints and button pins .Set up at M5 in artist alley Come by for laughs and sketches too!
i hope to run into old friends and make new ones.
